This Sweet Iron Flat Ring Eggbutt Bit with Lozenge has fixed rings that prevent pinching and support sideway stability in the horse’s mouth. Sweet iron for the mouthpiece instills a pleasant taste and encourages salivation for bit acceptance; the lozenge prevents the nutcracker action provided by a single-jointed bit, letting the bit rest over the tongue. Mouthpiece is 14mm. Rings are 55mm (in bit sizes 4.5", 5") and 75mm (in bit sizes 5.5", 6").
